Erosion control is the first scope on the site and the one that stays there until the job closes out. Armor Site Services installs and maintains the full range of controls that keep sediment on site, keep the receiving waters clean, and keep the general contractor out of trouble with the inspector.

We have been self-performing this work since 2020 for general contractors across Texas and Oklahoma — on commercial pad sites, residential subdivisions, roadway and infrastructure jobs, solar farms, and data centers.

What We Install

Silt fence — perimeter control, trenched and compacted so it holds when the water comes
Inlet protection — curb, drop, and area inlet protection to keep sediment out of the storm system
Stabilized construction entrances — rock entrances that keep track-out off the public road
Hydromulch and seeding — temporary and permanent stabilization
Erosion control blankets and wattles — slope and channel protection where vegetation needs help establishing
Riprap — rock armor at headwalls, outfalls, and other scour points

Install, Maintain, Close Out

Installation is the easy part. The scope that actually costs general contractors money is the maintenance — the controls that get run over by a subcontractor, the silt fence that silts up after a storm, the inlet that fills before final stabilization. We handle the full cycle: initial install, ongoing maintenance and repair through construction, and final stabilization so the SWPPP can be closed out.
